WHO WE ARE

LINC is a program of the Jefferson County Faith Based Network a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Through the cooperation of the churches in Jefferson County, volunteers, and other community organizations, we help meet not only practical needs but provide long term opportunities by walking with people offering love, support, and encouragement, thus helping people change their lives.

LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT RECIPE

you will need: 5 1/2 oz. Fels Naptha Bar soap (about 1 cup)
1 cup washing soda (yellow box - NOT baking soda)
1 cup Borax 
cheese grater OR food processor, funnel, measuring cup, 5 gallon bucket, empty containers (milk jugs, etc)
Put grated Fells Naptha in saucepan and cover with water.  Heat on low until dissolved with NO lumps .  Pour 4 gallons of HOT tap water into the bucket and add dissolved soap.  Add one cup washing soda and one cup borax.  Stir to combine.  It will thicken as it sets; add hot water to thin it to desired consistency.  May be used immediately or put into containers. Mix well before each use.  Use ½ C (normal) to 1 cup (heavy) per load
